Ampli

Your agentic social media scheduler: plan and publish to every channel from one calendar, or let your AI agent schedule for you.

Ampli is your agentic social media scheduler built for creators and small teams. Schedule and publish to TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, YouTube and X, from one calendar and queue. Write once and tailor the caption for each channel, bulk-schedule a week of posts in one go, publish now or save drafts, and post every format that matters: Reels, Stories, carousels, Shorts, Instagram trial reels, TikTok drafts and long posts for X Premium accounts. When the queue runs low, Ampli can fill it with slideshows, carousels and pins built on templates modeled after posts that went viral.

What sets Ampli apart is that it is built for AI agents. Its MCP server and REST API let Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and any MCP client schedule and publish for you on autopilot: upload your photos and videos, post them across every channel on a schedule you describe in plain words, or run one of the preset viral templates to create the post first. Agent access is included on every plan, and posts your agent writes use no Ampli credits.

Best for: Creators, founders and small teams who want one calendar for every channel, run by hand or by their AI agent

Postcron

A long-running post scheduler for Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok, built around bulk uploads.

Postcron is a web and mobile scheduler for Facebook Pages and Groups, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest boards and TikTok. Its best-known tools are a spreadsheet bulk uploader for up to 1,000 posts at once, automatic watermarks and a content gallery with RSS feeds. Higher plans add Facebook and Instagram insights, team members and an AI text writer, but it does not design posts and has no public API.

Best for: Small businesses scheduling batches of Facebook and Instagram posts

Which one should you choose?

Choose Ampli if…

  • You publish to YouTube, Threads or WordPress. Ampli schedules all three from the same calendar as TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook and X, YouTube Shorts included; Postcron supports none of them.
  • You don't want to count queued posts. Ampli's paid plans include unlimited posts from $12 a month, and you can tailor the caption for each channel before you schedule. Postcron caps the posts waiting in its queue at 100 on the $14.99 Personal plan, and its composer writes one text for every account you select, to edit one by one afterward.
  • You want Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to schedule for you. Through Ampli's MCP server and REST API, your agent can upload media and schedule or publish across every channel from a plain-language request, on every plan, even Free; Postcron has no public API.
  • When you need posts to schedule, Ampli makes them. It generates TikTok and Instagram slideshows, carousels and Pinterest pins on templates modeled after posts that went viral, while Postcron's AI only writes text, and only from the $29 Entrepreneur plan.

Postcron may suit you if…

  • You schedule big batches from a spreadsheet. Postcron uploads up to 1,000 posts from Excel or Google Sheets and can spread them across random times for you.
  • You post to Facebook Groups or want a watermark added to every image automatically.
  • You need many accounts on a small budget. Personal covers 11 social accounts for $14.99 a month, and Enterprise covers 148.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ampli better than Postcron?

For creators and small teams, yes. Ampli publishes to YouTube, Threads and WordPress as well as the networks Postcron covers, includes unlimited posts on paid plans from $12 a month, and lets Claude or ChatGPT schedule posts for you through its MCP server. It can also design slideshows, carousels and pins to fill your queue. Postcron fits better if you bulk-upload hundreds of posts from a spreadsheet or post to Facebook Groups.

How much does Postcron cost in 2026?

Postcron has a free version, then Personal at $14.99 a month, Entrepreneur at $29, Corporate at $69 and Enterprise at $199, with 2 months off for paying yearly. Each plan caps how many posts can wait in the queue. Ampli has a free plan, then Starter at $12, Pro at $29 and Premium at $39 a month, with unlimited posts on every paid plan.

What does the Postcron free plan include?

Up to 3 social accounts from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, with at most 1 Instagram account, and up to 10 posts waiting in the queue at a time. X, Pinterest, the calendar and Post Now need a paid plan. The Ampli free plan includes 2 channels, 50 published posts a month and 20 one-time AI credits to generate posts, with no credit card, and it can publish plain posts to X.

Which networks do Ampli and Postcron publish to?

Ampli publishes to TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, YouTube and X, plus blog posts to WordPress. Postcron covers Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok, but not YouTube or Threads. Its direct TikTok posting starts on the Entrepreneur plan, and Instagram personal accounts get a push reminder to finish the post in the app.

Can Postcron create posts with AI?

Only the text. Postcron's AI Text Creator writes, rewrites and translates captions on the Entrepreneur plan and above, with a monthly limit, and it does not design images or carousels. Ampli generates slideshows, carousels and pins from a link, topic or pasted text, and you can adjust slides, colors and fonts in its editor.

Can I schedule posts from Claude or ChatGPT?

With Ampli, yes. Its MCP server and REST API work with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any MCP client on every plan, even Free, so your agent can upload media and schedule or publish across every channel. Posts your own agent writes through MCP use no Ampli credits. Postcron has no public API or MCP server.

How we compared

We read each tool's public pricing page, feature pages and help center and recorded what every plan includes. Yes means the feature is available as described. Limited means it is only on higher plans, sold as an add-on, or restricted in a way the numbered note explains. No means it is not offered, or we found no documentation of it. Ampli's column lists only features that are live in production today.
